As part of our mission, each rider pledges to raise a minimum of $4,000 before the start of the trip. The money I raise will go toward supporting the affordable housing cause. Bike & Build receives grant applications from affordable housing organizations, and as a rider I will have a direct say in which organizations will receive our support.
To date, I have raised over $500, and I am quickly approaching my $1000 benchmark. I would like to send out a special thank you to everyone who has donated to the cause thus far. I couldn't do it without you.
If you are interested in donating, you can:
Go to my rider bio and click donate
or
Send a check, with my name in the memo line, to: Bike and Build, Inc., 6109 Ridge Ave. Bldg. 2, Philadelphia, PA, 19128
All donations are tax deductible.
Think affordable housing!

What is Bike and Build?
Hello everyone,
So what is Bike and Build you ask? It's a grass roots organization which has organized cross country biking trips for young adults since 2003 to raise money and awareness for affordable housing. Since its inception, Bike and Build has raised over $2.7 million, traveled 4 million miles, and engaged over 1,200 participants. You can bet those numbers are still growing. The organization is hosting 8 trips this summer, all of which have 30+ riders.
For more information, check out the bike and build website, www.bikeandbuild.org, and this video on youtube for more information.
